Why high?

"The chemistry of hemp fascinated me. Hemp is a plant that has endurance & longevity. It is an ingredient that is only just beginning to have its true potential understood. I wanted to capture hemp's endurance, the plant’s innate chemistry when I formulated our high skincare compositions. High to me is feeling beautiful in the skin you are in at any age."

What We Believe

a commitment to skincare

After 30 years of formulating product for the natural and organic beauty industry, Melissa Jochim founded high with a commitment to skincare that is truly beneficial and healthy. We’ve found benefits in hemp that have truly remarkable results for your skin and we believe it has a place in your skincare routine.

When we learned about the proven benefits of hempseed oil, we decided to create a brand that utilized this amazing ingredient to its full potential. Every single ingredient in a high beauty bottle is there to serve a purpose, it's there to bring out your own skin’s highest potential.

What We Make

truly healthy skincare

We are one of the first skin care brands to formulate a whole skincare line with hempseed oil as the hero ingredient. We chose hempseed oil because it is incredibly nutrient dense, contains all twenty amino acids, and is a great source of essential fatty acids. With Melissa's formulating expertise she adds in bioflavonoids and terpenes (entourage) replicating the whole plant benefits of hemp, giving you healthy, beautiful skin. This makes the hempseed oil even more effective as an ingredient in high's formulations leaving you with healthy, beautiful skin.

Hempseed oil is scientifically proven to have incredible benefits for skin. Once we saw the raw potential of this ingredient, we knew we had to create a formulation of other natural ingredients around the seed oil to harness its full potential.

To us, this is what it means to achieve your skin’s highest potential.
